Andrew Stockton
Managing Partner and Head of Commercial
After graduating from Leeds University, Andrew trained with the firm and qualified as a solicitor in 1984. He has specialised in commercial work since 1989 building a solid reputation for advising a wide variety of clients – from small start up ventures to national organisations.
Rebecca Stringfellow
Partner and Head of Wills Trust & Probate
Rebecca joined Dootsons in 2014 as a Solicitor in the Newton le Willows branch office. She is a graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University and subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course Programme at the Manchester Law School. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 2007. Rebecca is also a Full Member of STEP – the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and a Student Member of Solicitors for the Elderly. Rebecca became a Partner in May 2019.

Angie Brown
Head of Family Law - FMCA Family Law Mediator
Angie is the Head of Dootsons Family Team and a highly experienced family law solicitor, court advocate and also a family law mediator. Angie gained an LLB (Hons) Law Degree and has over 20 years of experience practising family law, she is a member of Resolution, and also earned the Law Society Panel and Advanced Panel status.
In May 2010 Angie received recognised status as an interpersonal mediator and in 2012 became accredited to Practice All Issues of Family Law Mediation, giving her FMCA status and enabling her to offer specialist family law mediation and MIAMS that provide an alternative approach to resolving any family issues or disputes.
Angie has a broad range of experience as a city centre lawyer and also in local practice in all manner of disputes. Her areas of expertise include all areas of Family Law and her current areas of practise include divorce, finances, children, domestic abuse, and mediation.
Robert Milner

Rob joined the Dootsons family team in November 2022 and is a member of CILEX.
Rob brings to the team over 10 years of wide range experience in legal practice and now specialises in Family Law.
I am delighted to join the friendly Dootsons team where I can focus on supporting my client’s through all their family issues. I find it a very rewarding experience when I can walk into a difficult situation and walk a family through it and achieve for them the best possible result.

Beryl Murray
Licensed Conveyancer - Head of Department
A qualified Licensed Conveyancer since 2002, Beryl joined Dootsons in 2013 and has a wide range of experience in all aspects of Residential conveyancing,sales, purchases, re-mortgages, Transfer of Equity, purchase of freehold reversion, unregistered properties etc. She was made Head of Residential Conveyancing in 2018.

Adele joined Dootsons Conveyancing Department in April 2014 and deals with sales, purchases, re-mortgages and post completion she is Conveyancing Quality Scheme accredited.

Geraldine joined Dootsons in 2005 as a secretary. She then trained within the firm and became a Conveyancing executive in 2007 is Conveyancing Scheme accredited and specialises in sales particularly dealing with the Firm’s probate sales.

Amanda has specialised in sales, purchases and re-mortgages since 2002 within the Residential Department. She Joined the firm in 2015 as a Conveyancing Executive, she is Conveyancing Quality Scheme accredited and is currently training to qualify as a Licensed Conveyancer.

Pauline has been employed by the firm, initially by Eckersley Hope, since 1977 when she joined as secretary to the Senior Partner. She has worked as a fee earner since 1988, gaining a wealth of experience in various departments, joining the Wills ,Trust and Probate department in 2007 specialising in Wills.
