Andrew Stockton
Managing Partner and Head of Commercial
After graduating from Leeds University, Andrew trained with the firm and qualified as a solicitor in 1984. He has specialised in commercial work since 1989 building a solid reputation for advising a wide variety of clients – from small start up ventures to national organisations.
Rebecca Stringfellow
Partner and Head of Wills Trust & Probate
Rebecca joined Dootsons in 2014 as a Solicitor in the Newton le Willows branch office. She is a graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University and subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course Programme at the Manchester Law School. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 2007. Rebecca is also a Full Member of STEP – the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and a Student Member of Solicitors for the Elderly. Rebecca became a Partner in May 2019.

Ainsley Pritchard
Head of Family Law
Ainsley is the Head of Dootsons Family Department. Ainsley has been practising Family Law for over 25 years having qualified in 1998. She has a wealth of experience in all areas of Family law including financial settlements on divorce as well as assisting clients with child related disputes and also provides advice to cohabiting couples upon separation. Ainsley is a member of Resolution, a national organisation of lawyers committed to resolving family disputes in a constructive way.
Robert Milner
Family Executive
Rob is a Family Executive and member of Resolution. Joining the team in 2022, Rob has particular experience in dealing with divorce, matrimonial finances, children matters, cohabitation disputes and domestic abuse, guiding individuals and families through some of life's challenging transitions. With a deep understanding of the emotional and financial steaks involved, Rob approaches each case with empathy and a strategic mindset and is committed to achieving outcomes that empower his clients to move forward confidently and with peace of mind.
Claire Jenkins
Paralegal
Claire has worked in the Family Department at Dootsons since May 2002 initially as a Legal Secretary. She is now a Paralegal dealing primarily with our fixed fee divorce work and change of name deeds. She is also one of your first ports of call when you make your initial enquiry with us. She has 35 years experience of working in law firms, particularly matrimonial departments.
Helen Whitty
Secretary
Helen joined Dootsons family department in 2016 having previously worked in Manchester City Centre for many years after leaving college. In her spare time, Helen undertakes fundraising for The Christie Hospital, crafting and looking after her 3 dogs.

Nicola White
Solicitor
Nicola joined Dootsons in 2017, trained with the firm and qualified as a Solicitor in 2020. She is based at our Leigh office and deals with a range of commercial related matters including sales and purchases of commercial property, refinances, leases and settlement agreements.
Janet Jenkinson
PA / Secretary
Janet has worked in the commercial department since joining Dootsons in 2015. She has gained experience in various areas of legal practice over the years including commercial, construction litigation, residential conveyancing and wills & probate.
Patricia Moran
Secretary
Patricia joined the commercial department in 2023 as a legal secretary. She is a graduate of Buenos Aires University of Law and since 2002 she worked as a solicitor, mainly in employment law, civil law and litigation. She moved to the UK in 2021.
Janine Jones
Secretary
Starting as a junior in 1989 at Unsworths, Janine progressed to a personal injury legal secretary when the company merged with Dootsons. Over 36 years she has worked in the commercial resolution, WTP and conveyancing departments. She has been part of the commercial team since 2020.

Michelle Savage
Conveyancer - Head of Department
Michelle joined us in May 2024 as Head of Residential Conveyancing. With over 20 years’ experience and CQS accreditation, she handles everything from sales and purchases to remortgages, probate, and shared ownership. Michelle manages the department’s day-to-day running and also takes on more complex cases, including new build sales and purchases, ensuring clients receive expert guidance and a smooth, stress-free experience every time.
Adele Dixon
Conveyancing Executive
Adele has been part of our Conveyancing Department since 2014. CQS accredited, she’s known for her excellent relationships with clients and third parties. Adele specialises in property sales, purchases, and is our go-to for remortgage matters. She’s also highly experienced with Help to Buy and client ISAs, always making sure clients feel supported and well-informed throughout their property journey, no matter how straightforward or complex.
Zoe Sayers
Conveyancing Executive
Zoe joined us in 2021, bringing strong conveyancing experience. She is CQS accredited and manages a mix of residential cases. Zoe specialises in work with management companies, including flats, maisonettes, and managed estates, plus new build homes. She aims to keep things simple and clear, making sure every client feels supported and informed from start to finish, no matter how complex the case.
Geraldine Davy
Conveyancing Executive
Geraldine has been with Dootsons since 2005, starting as a secretary before becoming a Conveyancing Executive in 2007. CQS accredited, she handles a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, with a special focus on probate and Power of Attorney sales. Geraldine’s friendly, approachable manner and years of experience make her a trusted point of contact for clients navigating property transactions, big or small.
Amanda Robertson
Conveyancing Executive
Amanda brings over 20 years of conveyancing experience to the team, joining us in 2015. She’s CQS accredited and has managed a wide variety of cases, including sales, purchases, and remortgages. Amanda now focuses on non-transactional matters like Transfer of Equity, Assent, Gift of Property, and Freehold reversion. Her practical approach and depth of knowledge ensure clients always feel confident and well looked after.
Helen Cooke
Secretary
Helen joined our Residential Conveyancing Department in 2013 and is truly the heart of the team. As our master organiser, she maintains department records, is often the first point of contact for clients, and provides essential secretarial support to the executives. Helen’s friendly, can-do attitude ensures the department runs efficiently and that clients always feel welcome and well cared for from start to finish.
Shane Smith
Administration Assistant
Shane first worked at Dootsons in our accounts department a decade ago and has since returned to support the Residential Conveyancing team. He’s responsible for opening and closing files, handling search requests, carrying out client ID checks, and making sure everything is archived correctly. Shane’s attention to detail and willingness to help make him an invaluable part of the department, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Jade Ellis
Wills Executive
Jade joined Dootsons in 2023 as a Wills Executive in the Newton-le-Willows branch office. She completed the Bachelor of Laws and the Legal Practice Course at John Moores University. She is currently completing her training contact and should be qualified as a Solicitor by March 2026.
Alexandra Nutter
Solicitor
Alex joined Dootsons in 2011 and specialises in Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney and Probate work. Her favourite part of her work is meeting clients.

Lorna joined Dootsons in 2019 and is a secretary within the WTP department.
Janet Weston
Secretary
Janet joined Dootsons in 2013. She is a Secretary in the Wills, Trust and Probate department dealing with the preparation of Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney and assisting in probate matters.
Debbie Sewell
Secretary / Reception
Debbie joined Dootsons in 2021 working as a secretary in the Commercial department at the Leigh office. Since January 2022, she has worked as a receptionist at the Newton-le-Willows branch.
Christine Williams
Secretary
Christine has been employed by Dootsons since 2001. She has worked as a secretary in the Wills, Trust and Probate department since 2007 and assists with paperwork and case management. She focusses on providing general support where needed.

Janine Harrison
Accounts
Janine joined the Dootsons team in 2005. She has over 25 years of accounts experience and is a full diploma member of the Institute of Legal Finance and Management.
Susan Bourne
Administration
Receptionist covering all offices taking calls, enquiries and clients calling into reception with queries, together with general administration duties.
Stephen Rayson
IT Manager / Office Manager
Responsible for management of the firms IT systems and office administration.
