Financial Issues

Whether you are in the process of separating or divorce proceedings have been commenced, we are able to provide advice relating to financial and property matters which need to be considered on relationship breakdown.

Family Services

We can provide advice on issues relating to maintenance for yourself and your children and provide advice with regards to joint or individually owned property.

The financial aspect of divorce can often be the most difficult, stressful, and costly one. This does not always have to be the case. With our help, the majority of our clients are able to find a solution without resorting to court. However, we will never encourage you to settle for less than you deserve. If you are unable to come to an agreement out of court for whatever reason, we can help you apply for a financial order.

We will discuss issues in relation to debts, loans and pension issues and advise you of your rights.

We will explain the process of financial disclosure and, if agreement can be reached, the format the agreement should take and assist in implementing any agreement.

We will also advise you on applications which can be made to the Court if agreement cannot be reached either following negotiation by your respective Solicitors or following mediation.

We provide advice on timescales for completion of work and a detailed cost estimate.
