Family Services

Our Solicitors can offer detailed and effective legal advice at what can be a very distressing and emotional time.

If you have experienced abuse, violence and/or harassment by a partner, ex-partner or relative, we can provide clear advice about the steps you can take to seek legal protection.

Our experienced solicitors can:

  • Apply for a non-molestation order to protect you from violence or threats or violence
  • Apply for an occupation order to stop someone from living in, entering or coming near your home

We can provide detailed advice on options and remedies that may be available for various types of harassment and provide advice about other agencies which can also offer assistance such as local support groups and Police assistance.

We also have extensive experience in successfully representing Respondents in such proceedings, either challenging the applications, or reaching a sensible agreement to avoid the significant costs and stress of proceeding to a contested hearing.
